Right now I’m sitting at Grazie Book Cafe in Hanyang University Campus. I have time to spend until my class in Survival Korean at 6 pm. Before this I had two lectures, one in Public International Law and one in Global Resource Politics. Studying here in Hanyang includes a great variety of topics and teaching practices. I have tried to find courses that relates to the topic of Environmental Science. I’ve found that my perspective is a minority at this university with a huge focus on engineering, business and finance.

The courses that I’m taking at Hanyang University are: Business and Environmental Ethics, Global Resource Politics, Economic Growth and Development, Public international law and International Relations in East Asia.

The topic of environmental science is not only a minority at campus. I have gotten the question from korean friends why I travel to Seoul if I want to study environmental science. “-Here we have nothing of that thing” is the response I get together with an ironic laugh.

My aim with this website is to try to answer that question – Why I traveled to Seoul to study environmental science. This site will also work as a travel blog to show my family and friends what I’m up to in Seoul, Korea.

Enjoy!
